Starter camp is designed to help you begin your camping journey. On this experience, you'll learn all the key skills and information needed to go camping by yourself, as our team of camping experts will be on hand to help.
Join Snow Peak and the Embers Campsites Team at the scenic Embers Polesden Lacey, National Trust Campsite in Surrey, for a night of camping, cooking, and takibi time.
C A M P
We’ll help you to pitch your tent, light a campfire, and cook a delicious meal over open flames on a fire and grill, under a Snow Peak tarp. Then, it's time to relax and enjoy an evening of takibi time by the fire. The following morning, you can have your breakfast before we show you how to pack up your tents ready for your departure, happy in the knowledge that you have everything you need to do it on your own next time around. Furthermore, during the daytime, you'll have the chance to make the most of your time outdoors and enjoy the beautiful National Trust Polesden Lacey site and its myriad of trails and walks, along with a variety of other fun activities on offer in the local area.

The great outdoors is a place where people can forge essential connections, and that is what we hope everyone can experience at our events. We also want camping in the outdoor world, to be something that can be enjoyed long into the future. So, we need to work with our users to consider the environment, take action, and find ways to live in harmony with nature.

Can I rent a tent?
Yes, tent rental is included in the ticket (one tent per group).
What's included?
- One night camping at the Embers Polesden Lacey Campsite
- Tent hire (one per group)
- Sleeping Mat hire
- Hamper of ingredients to cook your evening meal (only Adults provided for)
- Complimentary Breakfast fruit bowl
- Access to the Polesden Lacey Estate house and gardens and walks through woodlands in Surrey Hills
